At Trydan Will Davey Electrical, supporting the local community is an important part of how we operate. We are therefore proud to continue our partnership with Aberystwyth Town Football Club as its Official Electrical Partner.
Based in Aberystwyth, we provide electrical and renewable-energy services for homes, businesses and organisations across Ceredigion and West Wales. Our partnership with the football club gives us an opportunity to use our experience to support the improvement of an important local facility.
Electrical Improvements at Park Avenue
Our team recently supported two projects at Aberystwyth University Park Avenue: the refurbishment of the hospitality lounge and the redevelopment of the Club’s turnstile.
We completed the electrical work required for both spaces, helping to transform them into facilities that can be used throughout the football season.
The upgraded hospitality lounge now provides an improved space for businesses, sponsors and guests attending matches. The former turnstile has also been redeveloped into a matchday pop-up facility that can welcome local food, drink and retail businesses.
The work is a good example of how thoughtful electrical improvements can help an organisation make better use of an existing space.
More Than a Sponsorship
Our relationship with Aberystwyth Town goes beyond traditional sponsorship. Alongside completing work at the ground, Trydan Will Davey Electrical will feature on the Men’s First Team matchday polos throughout the 2026/27 season.
For us, the partnership is about contributing our time and expertise while continuing to support a local football club that plays an important role within the community.
Will Davey said:
“I’m very pleased to have partnered with Aber Town FC as both a local contractor and continued sponsor. Supporting local is important to us as a business, and I was delighted to be asked to play a part in upgrading the lounge. The turnstile is a great idea, and we were more than happy to collaborate with Gethin to help bring it to life. We’re looking forward to seeing what the year ahead holds for the Club.”
Aberystwyth Town Commercial Director Gethin ap Dafydd said:
“Will has been brilliant to work with and has supported us with two projects that are important to the direction in which we want to take the Club. This partnership is about more than placing a logo on a shirt. Will has contributed his time and expertise to help us improve both the hospitality lounge and the turnstile. It’s great to have a trusted local business supporting what we’re trying to achieve.”
